Module 5 – Job Seeking Skills
When you get there
Introduce yourself and ask to see the person who does the hiring/or if there are any current vacancies
    • Smile and if needed shake hands. Make eye contact
    • Speak clearly and don’t rush. Tell them why you are there and ask if they have time to talk to you right now
    • If they do tell them what job you are looking for and briefly what skills you have for the job.
    • If they don’t, ask to come back when it’s more convenient.
    • Give them your CV

Get a business card or a name of someone to talk to, or the person you did speak to. Thank them for their time.
